Jonathan Ward Rau

Jonathan Ward Rau was raised in Southeastern Michigan, where he took advantage of many outdoor opportunities and adventures. In 2011, the idea of acting in film and television pulled him to the West Coast where he began an exciting but ultimately doomed acting career. After some time, he found himself overseeing productions and editing projects of all sizes.

Jonathan has produced and edited a number of award-winning films, shorts, and commercials. Shooting in Vain, Men of Santa Muerte, Super Heroes, and Magus Elgar have all been well received and won a number of awards in their respective markets and festivals.

Jonathan's wife, Colleen Kelly, and his cats, Jezebel and Pippa, have been the pillars of support in his chaotic life of artistic ups and downs. When Jonathan isn’t producing or editing, he is often gardening or painting while listening to classical music.

The timeless pieces included in his masterful arrangement have framed much of his understanding and appreciation of music from an early age. It is with great pleasure that these historic works have found their way from Jonathan’s heart to On His Own and to you.
